Registration booklets will be sent to potential attendees in the coming weeks. If your organization is interested in being a sponsor this year and would like your involvement to be captured from the outset, we will need your registration information by Tuesday, January 19th. We recognize that this is a very quick turnaround. Please note that this is not the deadline to be a sponsor. It is simply to deadline to be included on the registration information to be sent out to potential attendees.

2016 Scholarships - The Indiana Health Care Foundation

The Indiana Health Care Foundation is excited to announce the opening of its 2016 scholarship cycle to help further higher and continuing education opportunities for long term care professionals!
Deadlines for both our AMDA Core Curriculum on Medical Direction in LTC Scholarship and the Certified Alzheimer's Disease and Dementia Care Trainer Certification Scholarship are February 15, 2016.
• Applicants for the AMDA Core Curriculum on Medical Direction in LTC Scholarship may apply for:
• Part 1 (online) and Part 2 (in-person in Indianapolis this summer)
• OR Part 2 only, if they have already completed Part 1 of the course
• The Certified Alzheimer's Disease and Dementia Care Trainer Certification Scholarship is a train-the-trainer course, allowing attendees to train others and prepare the front line staff and health care professionals at organizations and facilities to become a Certified Dementia Practitioner (CDP).

Advanced Education in QAPI/Lean Six Sigma for Long Term Care Professionals
The Indiana Chapter of the American College of Health Care Administrators will be hosting two identical QAPI/Lean Six Sigma trainings, comparable to the training provided by the Indiana State Department of Health, by their instructor, Evelyn Catt.
June 9-11, 8 am - 5 pm
Saint Anne Retirement Center
June 16 - 18, 8 am - 5 pm
This three day immersion into Lean Six Sigma will leave the student with an understanding level sufficient to pass the International Certification for Yellow Belt, Lean Six Sigma.
